Sunny's Roadshow
Therapy Focus mascot Sunny the Sunflower visits Perth metropolitan schools and various community events spreading the valuable message of inclusion and teaching children that it is our differences which make us special - and life much more interesting!
For a donation, Sunny can visit your school!
Sunny helps to teach children at a young age not to fear differences in others, but to celebrate everyone's unique abilities. Accompanied by his helper, Sunny shares his message in a visually entertaining and interactive presentation as part of school assemblies or in the classroom.
Sunny is very popular with children and the five-minute presentation is an effective resource for schools in promoting the following Curriculum Framework Links:
Self acceptance and respect of self
Social and civic responsibility
Compassion and care
Equality
Individual differences
Respect and concern for others
and their rights
Spot Sunny out and about in the community!
Sunny also makes regular community appearances at festivals, carnivals, expos, open days - even sporting matches, to promote Therapy Focus and the services we provide to children with disabilities.

Sunny's Roadshow relies on the support of enthusiastic volunteers to visit the numerous schools and community events visited by Sunny each year. We are always looking for willing, energetic volunteers to jump in the Sunny suit and enjoy the fun and rewarding experience.
